Growing without losing ourselves: how Scroll found its own pace

Discover how Scroll built its web agency growth without losing its proximity, simplicity, and the quality of its digital projects.
Natural growth, not a race for numbers
In the digital world, we often talk about “scaling,” fundraising, and exponential growth.
But in practice, growing too fast often means losing what makes a team valuable: cohesion, rigor, and quality.
At Scroll, we chose a different path.
Not the path of artificial growth, but the right pace—dictated by projects, encounters, and the trust our clients place in us.
When the agency was born, we were a small team of design and low-code enthusiasts with a clear idea: to create useful, robust, and well-thought-out digital products.
What changes when an agency grows (and what we refuse to lose)
Today, Scroll is a team of 15, supported by external collaborators who work with us daily.
But this evolution isn’t just about a number.
What has truly changed is the structure, the expertise, and the depth of each department.
We’ve strengthened our skills in UX/UI, automation, low-code development, and product strategy.
Each new talent brings their own perspective, and this diversity fuels our exacting standards.
Yet, we’ve set three guardrails—three simple principles that guide us like a compass:
- Proximity with our clients. Even with more projects, we ensure every client feels their product is unique.
- Simplicity in our processes. Growth shouldn’t create complexity. We optimize, we automate, but we maintain a fluid and human approach.
- The desire to create useful products. Digital only has value if it solves a real problem, improves an experience, or simplifies a profession.
It’s this blend of rigor and common sense that, I believe, sets us apart in a market often obsessed with speed.
Growth and vision: low-code as a lever, not an end goal
Low-code has been our foundation from the start.
Not because it’s trendy, but because it lets us focus on what matters: designing concrete, fast-to-deploy solutions without compromising on quality.
But over time, we realized our job wasn’t "to do low-code."
Our job is to build product, and to use the right tool for each need.
Whether it’s Webflow, Plasmic, Make, or a custom API, the key remains the underlying logic: designing sustainable systems.
It’s this product-first, technology-second vision that has allowed us to grow without losing our DNA.
Lesson learned:
True growth isn’t measured in the number of clients or employees, but in the quality, cohesion, and clarity of the vision it strengthens.
What this says about the digital market today
The market is evolving fast.
Agencies are booming, merging, repositioning.
But all too often, growth becomes an end in itself, at the expense of human relationships and project relevance.
At Scroll, we see that businesses—from SMEs to startups—are looking for something different today: a trusted partner, not just a service provider.
Someone who understands their business and knows how to turn an idea into a tool that truly works.
This is the mindset we want to keep growing with: staying close, staying useful, and staying curious.
And now?
Our journey is only accelerating, yes.
But not because we want to "get bigger."
Because we want do better.
And if growth follows, all the better—it’s a sign the method works.
Scroll today is all about:
- 15 people, multiple areas of expertise (Design, Development, Automation, Marketing, SEO)
- A strong product culture, focused on efficiency and clarity
- A simple ambition: helping businesses build smart, useful, and sustainable digital tools
